Let’s take one of the most famous Russian-language reiki schools for analysis.All data is from open sources.

Why is such a structure needed?Let’s break it down piece by piece:

One of the frequently mentioned statuses is membership in the European Register of Psychotherapists (EAP).What does it mean?
EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy) is a private professional association founded in Vienna in 1990.Membership is paid and voluntary.Thisnot a state documentnot a single country, including Russia.In Russia, it does not give the right to practice psychotherapy — for this you need a Russian medical license in the specialty “psychotherapy”.

- 1st level of reiki, 10–22 thousand rubles.

This is a classic info-business ladder of values.It works — both in online marketing courses and in online reiki courses.There is nothing illegal in the structure itself.The question is what is sold at each level and what promises are made.

The problem is different:discrepancy between what is promised and what is guaranteed.The student is sold a profession, but is not given the tools that will protect this profession in changed conditions.
